Come spend a Saturday morning at Bentley’s with our Oyster Boys, the team who shuck over 1,000 oysters a day and love nothing more than sharing their tips and tricks.
In this hands-on class, you’ll get stuck in, learning how to shuck like a pro while tasting a selection of oysters from across the British and Irish coasts. Discover the differences between Rock and Native varieties and explore the unique flavours each region has to offer.
Our sommelier team will be on hand with perfectly paired drinks to elevate your oysters, and you’ll finish the session with a taste of cooked and dressed oysters too.

What to Expect
The morning begins with a welcome drink before you dive in, shucking and tasting a variety of oysters. During the class, enjoy a carefully selected drink pairing, followed by a tasting of cooked and dressed oysters to finish. You’ll also take home your very own oyster passport, Bentley’s oyster knife and a recipe card. The oysters you sample will vary depending on what’s in season and available that day.
